Cricket, especially the village variety, is full of characters of all ages, abilities and walks of life. Many are eager to offer their witty observations and comments whether at the crease, in the field or watching the game from behind the boundary rope.

I have played village cricket for many years and in an effort to capture its gentle, timeless humour, I have combined my love of the sport with my passion for drawing to create 'So village cricket'.
